For those that are interested, I'm Matt. I have an Associate's Degree in Audio Technology and currently work as a dispatcher and field technician within the home security field.



I love to have fun and like to be entertained in many different ways. For days indoors, movies are a pastime for me, especially since I worked for a movie theater. I also enjoy some casual Xbox from time to time but nothing hardcore. Outside I'm up for doing things like skiing, biking, bowling, golfing or just walking. I want to stay healthy so I go to the gym more than half the week, which is important to me as well: balance in life is the key.



I feel like working on something constructive which gives me a sense of purpose, to build towards something. I plan on running my own business again some day and would like to have someone who supports me in my endeavors as I do in theirs. Other big goals of mine are to work on learning a new language; Japanese has been on my mind for some time.



I strive for originality or uniqueness; doing the same thing in the same way as everyone else feels dull and monotonous. I think everyone needs to have a flair for something that matches their own personality.



Music is a big part of my life -- my tastes vary with my mood all the time but I grew up with 80s hits, spent my childhood listening to 90s Pop and Rock, and lately I've been fond of Rock, Industrial , Trance, some Metal, Classical, etc...

A little of everything if you find the right stuff.



Not really a big watcher of TV, but for what little I actually watch it I have several shows I keep up with including:

Archer, American Horror Story, The Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, Falling Skies, How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, Futurama, Family Guy



My number one pet-peeve is being ignored, I think it is incredibly disrespectful and unattractive. If you message me, I will respond, that's just how I am. I don't like the super-market approach where you pick and choose what you like from the shelf; so I try to return the same respect in kind. I mean, if everyone were to treat online-dating like the real world, how many people would constantly disregard a person that was talking to them?



What am I NOT looking for? If you are heavy into watching/playing sports then we probably won't jive. If you are overly religious or a hardcore liberal then I don't see it happening. And if you bring drama and will self destruct your relationships then I am not interested.



If you're still reading this far then I haven't completely bored you to death. So what am I looking for? I'm looking for a woman with a sense of humor who's lighthearted. Someone who is focused on what they want but still willing to go with the flow and, more importantly, to enjoy the ride. I want to meet my best friend, even if we don't realize it at first. If you are independent, but want to have someone there by you for support then that sounds a lot like my kind of lady. Lastly, if you're someone willing to look beneath the surface for true character and want someone to appreciate you the same then go ahead and message me, I'll respond.
